THE PROCESS

  1. Place Your Order: Reserve your custom artwork by placing your order here.
  2. Send Your Details: After checkout, you’ll receive an email asking for your pet’s photo, details, and preferred background colour.
  3. Sketch & Approval: I’ll send a digital sketch for your approval within 3 weeks.
    You can request one round of small changes if needed.
  4. Painting Begins: Once the sketch is approved, I’ll start painting your artwork by hand.
  5. Delivery: Your portrait will be shipped within 3-4 weeks from your sketch approval date. You’ll be updated along the way.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Handmade by GASTY: Each piece is painted from scratch in my Sydney studio. Nothing is rushed, every artwork is made with care and intention.

Timeline: Sketches are sent within 3 weeks. Final paintings are shipped within 3 weeks of sketch approval. If you need it faster, please get in touch here before purchasing.

Style Note: Each portrait is drawn in Gasty’s signature style; bold, contemporary, and character-driven, with a pop energy. By ordering, you agree to this creative approach.

SHIPPING

Shipping is calculated at checkout and includes tracking and insurance. All orders are carefully packed and may require a signature on delivery.

International orders may incur customs fees or taxes, these are the buyer’s responsibility.

RETURNS

Each piece is made to order, so returns aren’t accepted once work has started.

If your item is damaged in transit, I’ll replace it. Just send clear photos of the packaging and artwork to hello@gastonduflos.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Meet Gasty

Gaston Duflos, also known as Gasty, is a Sydney based artist and designer with a passion for bold, playful creations. He has worked with notable clients such as Essilor Luxottica, OPSM, Sunglass Hut, The Waverley Council, Trademutt and Paw4Friends.

Questions I usually receive

Can I ask for accessories like a crown or sunglasses?

Absolutely! Each portrait is fully customisable. You can keep it simple or go wild, add a crown, a bow tie, angel wings. Or keep it natural with no accessories at all. Just let me know in the email when you send the photos!

I’m not sure what colour to choose for the background...

No worries! There’s a colour palette on the product photos above, just slide the photos to the side to find it. You can pick one from there, or let me know your vibe and I’ll choose one that fits. Want a colour that’s not listed? Message me, I’ll do my best!

When and how do I send the photos?

Right after you purchase, you’ll get an automated email from me. Just reply to that with your favourite photos of your pet within 2 days. Didn’t get it? Check your spam folder, or contact me at hello@gastonduflos.com.

Can I ask for changes after seeing the sketch?

Of course! You’ll get one sketch for approval. One round of changes is included. Extra revisions may have a small charge. I won’t paint anything until the sketch is approved.

Any updates on my painting?

I get it, you're excited. Just remember: it’s a one-human show here haha. I’m designing, painting, emailing and packing each order myself. The estimated timeline is always listed on the product page. But feel free to check in anytime 💌

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Since each portrait is custom made just for you, returns aren’t possible. If I haven’t started your sketch, I can offer a refund. But once I begin the sketch, no refunds can be made. If your painting arrives damaged (which has never happened so far 🤞), I’ll replace it.

What coffee do you drink?

I'm a soy latte boy, decaf if I'm feeling a little ansious haha.
